It is a bluetooth device, once paired with your iPhone / iPad, then each time you are away from your iDevice to a pre-set distance( see spec. below), it will vibrate, beep and the the LED blinks to alert you that you are away from your iDevice too far. Within 10 meters (approximately), you can press the button on the iAlert to stop the Beep sound, the vibration and the LED blinking. If you don't press the button, the alert mode will last for 1 minutes.
